Cabaret film not based on dance

Actress Richa Chadha has clarified that her next film “Cabaret” is not based on the popular dance form cabaret.

“Cabaret is not based on cabaret (dance). It’s a story of a simple girl, who goes through a lot of troubles. Then there is a love story between this girl and her boyfriend. The film’s backdrop is based on dance and performance,” Richa said.

She also clarified that contrary to reports, the film is not based on yesteryear actress Helen’s life.

“Press is reporting that it is based on Helen ji’s life. That is not true,” she explained.

Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of Fisheye Network Private Limited, “Cabaret” will release in 2016. Get here more news here.

The 49-year-old actor, who was spotted with his family at a suburban Mumbai restaurant, sat inside the three-wheeler with actor Nikhil Dwivedi for company after seeing off his family in their swanky cars.

The actor also helped his father Salim Khan getting into the car.

Shahid Kapoor Quits Smoking

Looks like Mira Rajput is the cause behind several good-wins for Shahid Kapoor. The couple got married on July 7, in a private ceremony. And now, the newly wed lass has finally convinced her hubby to quit smoking.

According to a report by a leading English daily, Shahid was not seen smoking for quite a while. Earlier a source had mentioned that, “He has almost become a chain smoker, a lot of unit members scolded him and even advised him to cut down on his smoking. I guess his break-up has affected him badly.”

Comedy Nights With Kapil Will Not Off

Kapil Sharma and Colors have been at loggerheads for quite sometime now. TheTV star who rose to fame with his showComedy Nights With Kapil had a major tiff with the channel heads as he accused them of giving more attention to the other show Comedy Nights Bachao.

Given that the makers too created and conceptualised the new show to ensure a steady flow of TRPs only to be able to show Kapil the door once CNB becomes successful, it seems Kapil understood the move and planned something else altogether. So what’s the plan? Kapil has decided to not end the show but move it to STAR Network now.

The legalities and all the other modalities are being worked out currently. But one thing is for sure. Kapil has cut off all ties with Colors and the show won’t be aired on the channel from January, even if the show isn’t picked by the rival channel. Given that Kapil’s show has been a gamechanger for Colors, STAR would not mind taking it up.

So for all CNWK fans, don’t worry, the show along with Kapil and his entire mad family will still be here to entertain you. Only on a different number on your remote!
